What is a hot tent? A stove jack is sewn into the tent, which makes it possible to put a tent wood stove inside, and run a chimney through the shelter wall, made of ultralight and lightweight fabrics. This makes it so that you can burn wood as a heat source, to cook food or even dry clothing outdoors.
The general rule is (depending on the size of the person and stove) that wood stoves use roughly 1/3 of a tents floorspace to safely operate. This means adding a stove would turn a 2-person into a 1-person shelter, as an example.
Depending on the size of the person and the stove, you may also have the option to use an inner tent and wood stove together. Generally you can only use a small stove inside a small tent, in this regard.

Minipeak XL up to 2-person and Stove Pyramid Hot Tent
Like our standard Minipeak, the XL version can use a trekking pole to pitch with an extension, designed exclusively for backpack camping or any outdoor activity where you need a tent wood stove in the backcountry. The main body of the tent is made of ripstop polyester fabric, which makes it lightweight and portable.
It has a max size of 3 people (up to 2 with stove) and a 2 door entrance, making it more convenient to enter and exit the shelter, and not be passing by a hot wood stove.
You have the option to use our XL Pyramid 1.5 inner tent with winter walls, together with a small or medium sized wood stove.

It has a max size of 5 people (up to 4 with stove) and 3 door entrances, making it more convenient to enter and exit the shelter, and one of which opens to create a tent awning.

Octopeak up to 3-person and Stove Tipi Hot Tent
The Octopeak can use two trekking poles to pitch, or dedicated pole, making it a ultralight option for backpacking or any outdoor activity where you need a large shelter to pack into a small place. The main body of the tent is made of ripstop silnylon fabric, which makes it ultralight and portable.
It has a max size of 6 people (up to 3 with stove) and may have one or two doors near the stove jack placement, depending on which tent options you choose.
Additionally, it is our most spacious lightest and most packable hot tent, for 2 people winter backpacking in 4-season conditions and who is going to backpack in let's say 15 miles. This shelter was designed for backpack camping and winter backpacking.
You have the option to use a single 1-person pyramid, 1.5 inner or 2.5-person V8 inner, or one of two bathtub floors, together with a small, medium or large tent stove. A DIY heat shield may be needed when using a 2.5 bathtub floor.

Megahorn up to 3-person and Stove Tipi Hot Tent
The Megahorn tipi is the perfect balance between a cabin and a tent in the woods. The main body of the tent is made of polyester fabric, which makes it more affordable and to combat the stretch of using a tent made of silnylon. You can also get this tent with the inside UV reflective coating for shade in the desert and to reflect heat back in the cold (White only). This is our most portable shelter that is one step above sleeping in a standard tent.
It has a max size of 4 people (up to 3 with stove,) and 2 doors to enter and exit the shelter. The stove jack is placed away from the door, to make it easier to slip by the stove.
This shelter is our most balanced shelter design, to use while car camping, throw in a pulk or backpacking in 10 miles on a hunt in a snowstorm. Hitting the sweet spot between portability, livability and performance.

Megahorn XL up to 6-person and Stove Tipi Hot Tent
The Megahorn XL is the perfect balance between a backpacking tipi and a canvas tent. The main body of the tent is made of polyester fabric, which makes it more affordable and to combat the stretch of using a tent made of silnylon. This shelter is portable and lightweight compared to an outfitter style canvas tent.
It has a max size of 8 people (up to 6 with stove) and 2 doors to enter and exit the shelter. The stove jack is placed away from the door, to make it easier to slip by the stove or the peak cap can be removed allowing you to run a wood stove chimney through the center, using a tent protector sleeve.
This is a floorless tipi tent however it comes with a removable buckle-in floor that you can leave at home or roll back if you choose.

Hercules up to 6-person and Stove Dome Hot Tent
The Hercules tent is unique from the others, because it is a truly free standing tent, which means that stakes are not required to set it up. It is the closest thing to a house that we offer out of our shelter line.
It has a waterproof and seam taped outer tent, and a secondary rainfly cap to protect the zippered vents in heavy rain. The main body of the tent is made of Oxford fabric, and the secondary rainfly cap made of Polyester fabric. This makes it our most bombproof and durable shelter.
It has a max size of 8 people (up to 6 with stove,) and 3 doors to enter and exit the shelter. The stove jack is placed above one of the doors, so you can run the chimney up and out of the tent.
This shelter is our most livable shelter design, to use while car camping, throw in a pulk or as a survival shelter in a natural disaster. You can live in this shelter full time, if you choose, in the dead of winter.
The Hercules comes with a removable floor which buckles in over the sod skirts. You have the option to use a single 1-person pyramid, 1.5 inner, 2-person Mega-inner or 2.5-person V8 inner. You would be required to fold back the included tent floor to burn a wood stove without a heat shield.
